12. Mountain Film Review in Wadowice

After a one-year break, the Wadowice Cultural Center invites you on February 26-27 to the 12. Mountain Film Review. The main attraction of the event will be a mountain-themed movie marathon, but before all, meetings with extraordinary people. There will be workshops, competitions with valuable prizes, industry stands and a social run to Leskowiec. The star of the review this year will be Anna Tybor, who last autumn, as the first woman in the world, conquered the eight-thousander Manaslu without using oxygen from a cylinder and descended from the summit on skis.

Special guests at this year’s PFG are: Filip Babicz (professional mountaineer), Roman Ficek (ultra runner), Michal Woroch (writer, traveler, photographer) and Maja Pietraszewska-Koper and Grzegorz Lipiec (makers of the film “#To_BE” about Krzysztof Wielicki).

Enjoy 8 specially selected, award-winning and award-winning mountain films. During the several-hour marathon, everyone will find something for themselves. Films for lovers of high mountains, extreme sports, climbing and breathtaking views await the audience. This meeting will bring together enthusiasts, amateurs, fanatics, active tourists, athletes, climbers and those passive viewers who like to be among nature.

After the screening of the film about Krzysztof Wielicki titled “The Mountain of the Mountain”. #To_Be, we invite you to a meeting with Maja Pietraszewska – Koper and Grzegorz Lipiec.

A fixed point of PFG is also a social run to Leskowiec conducted by the Wichry Beskidu group. The run will be attended by the guest of the review – Roman Ficek.

The program will also include first aid workshops conducted by the GOPR group, presentations of outdoor equipment from our sponsors and competitions with valuable prizes. For festival audiences on the password “Mountain Film Review”, Podhalanin Hotel has introduced a 10% discount on accommodation.
